Pam Wittfeld graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Art Education.
At FSU Pam studied under Dr. Fred Metzke, designer and namesake of pewter Metzke Designs.
She presently resides in Charlotte, NC and teaches Art for the
Charlotte Mecklenburg School System at Ardrey Kell High School.
In recent years Pam has focused on revisiting earlier college interests in Metals for the creation of jewelry forms. She has taken numerous courses in traditional metalsmithing, and has also spent a lot of time exploring a new material, Precious Metal Clay.
In addition to her studies, Pam has also been a workshop leader teaching a wide variety of jewelry related workshops for fellow art educators at the local and state level, as well as for individuals in the community in a variety of settings.
Pam's personal and educationally based work has been featured in publications and on the web.
